Rabada propels Proteas to victory
South Africa secured an emphatic 282-run victory in the second cricket test against Sri Lanka to take a 2-0 lead and wrap up a series victory with one test match still to play.
The Proteas bowled out Sri Lanka for 224 on day four to win the second test at Newlands in Cape Town.
Sri Lanka resumed play on day four on 130 for four, needing a mammoth 377 more runs for victory.
Dinesh Chandimal and Angelo Mathews were at the crease with the Proteas keen to get the six wickets to wrap up the match.
Fast bowler, Kagiso Rabada, produced a man of the match performance getting four wickets in the first session to propel the Proteas to victory.
Kagiso Rabada got the Proteas the breakthrough dismissing Chandimal for 30 with Stephen Cook taking the catch.
