Nonala (Nala) Tose is the multi radio award winning broadcaster with 10 years of experience in the industry.
As an entrepreneur she advocated for the training and development of girls and women in media and business.
She is the author of her soon to be published first children’s book titled The Armour of God. Nala is currently the co-host of the leading breakfast show on Radio 2000 (Phat Joe and The Family) which is a nationwide public broadcasting station mandated to provide entertainment and education to all 9 provinces.
Nala is a winner and inductee of the Bright Star Young Achievers Club at the 2013 Radio Awards. Recently the South African Youth Awards have recognised her as a leader in the Arts and Entertainment with a SAYA Award as well as a Standard Bank Rising Star Award in Entrepreneurship.
She has been selected as a National Development Plan Ambassador with the responsibility to create opportunities for South Africa’s youth leading up to the vision 2030 as well as representing them in sittings such as Parliament. She is a YALI (Young African Leaders Initiative) graduate under the Civic Leadership track with 120 peers from the SADC Region.
Previously Nala won best daytime radio show twice from 2013-2015 for a show she produced and
presented on Umhlobo Wenene FM called SjikiLanga (SJL 123). From 2012-2015 the whole of Southern Africa (Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland and South Africa) listened to Nala at all the Clicks Group stores, pharmacies and clinics, as the radio presenter on Clicks Live Radio; the instore radio station for Clicks. From 2015-2019 she was a presenter on the
national youth station 5FM.
She is a Voice Over artist with copywriting experience from Kaya FM in Johannesburg and was the voice of the Kaya FM summer campaign 2011/2012 where she also worked as a copywriter and producer for the Kaya FM Top 40 show. She has been an Oakley Woman Ambassador and also channels bone marrow transplant awareness with the Sunflower Fund.
Nala is a Certified John Maxwell Leadership Trainer, Life -coach and International Speaker. She is an entrepreneur and the founder of a dynamic organization called Nonala Tose Productions that builds child leaders as well girls and women in media and business in Africa under Boss Moves Media.
She is currently hosting free Leadership Mastermind classes at various universities of which the first is University of Pretoria's Tuks Res Women's Leadership Academy which she sits as a board member of. As an alumnus of the University of Cape Town, she is passionate about education and has achieved a Bachelors of Social Sciences degree in Psychology and Organisational Psychology.
She has earned an NQF Level 5 Broadcasting certificate from YFM’s Y-Academy. A former Entertainment and Fundraising Coordinator for the Student Representative Council at UCT and a member of the Junior Town Council in
her school years, she has exceptional leadership qualities.
To continue this her company has hosted training and development programmes for Girls and Women in Media since 2015 called Boss Moves Girls and Women in Media as well as John Maxwell Global Youth Initiatives for leadership training for
school learners in Gauteng.
In the Eastern Cape she has been hosting Christmas For The Children Festivals since 2014 where she provides a Christmas lunch, fun and games for underprivileged children of her hometown
