Gill is a two-time Grammy Award nominee.  He was first nominated as part of the group New Edition for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 1989, and as a solo artist in 1991 for the Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.

Gill has had over 80 television and film appearances as a singer and actor. He had a cameo role on the TV show Family Matters, and sang “You For Me” in the 2006 movie Madea’s Family Reunion. Gill starred in the 2009 stage play A Mother’s Prayer, alongside Robin Givens, Shirley Murdock, and Jermaine Crawford.

Born in Washington DC on May 22, 1966, Gill started singing when he was 5 years old in church, where he performed with his two brothers (Bobby, Jeff & Randy) in a gospel group called Little Johnny & Wings of Faith.

Gill has promised to perform songs like My, My, My, Maybe, Let’s Get The Mood Right, Take Me (I’m Yours), Quiet Time To Play, Soul of a Woman and many more.
